Here's what's happening at Redeemer
We want High school and Middle School students to come together to worship, praise Jesus, and connect with other students. Wednesdays are a time for High school and Middle school students can come together as part of God's family. We have the people of God joining together in fellowship, fun, teaching, and worship!
Every week we will teach from The Word of God so that students can know God and be reminded or believe in The love of God! This semester we will be going through 2 Timothy! Join us every Wednesday at Redeemer from 6:30-8:30 pm.

Redeemer Kids Explore is June 17-21 from 9am to 12pm! It is for completed Kinder through 5th graders, and it is a week full of fun and gospel-centered content. Your children are sure to have a blast each day as we worship, learn about Jesus, and enjoy lots of fun activities together, such as Blazing Bouncers, water slides, inflatables, and more! Stay tuned for a more detailed schedule, and sign-ups coming soon. We can't wait for your children to join us!
This class covers the identity, beliefs, and practices of Redeemer. Come learn more about the mission and vision of Redeemer and how our members play an integral role in the local church. This class is required to become a Covenant Member.
This is now a one-week class! We will meet in Equipping Space 3 from 12:30 - 3:30 pm on Sunday, August 11th. Lunch will be provided.
Starting June 5th, Students Summer Gathering is where our students gather with other students where they will be in the word of God and will be shown the love of God by the people of God. Join us at 6 pm on Wednesdays at George Mahon Park (weather permitting)!
Family Dedications are a way for members of Redeemer to publicly pledge to shepherd and disciple their children in light of the gospel. The church has an important role in coming alongside and helping families as they seek to honor Jesus in their parenting. If you would like to dedicate a child of any age, we have Family Dedications throughout the year and would love for you to sign-up by emailing Ellie@redeemerlubbock.org.
Cultural Exchange is a program organized by Texas Tech where families, singles, and students from Redeemer can be matched up with students and families from around the world for one academic year. Families and singles commit to one simple touch point with their cultural exchange student each month for the academic year, introducing them to fun things in Lubbock, movies, games, food, holidays, etc.
This is a phenomenal way to connect with people often from countries you'll never be able to visit, offering genuine friendship and exposure to the gospel! Sign up by September 9th.
Mission of God is a 10-week course designed to mobilize the body of Christ to understand God’s heart for all peoples, the gospel needs of the world, and the necessity of intimacy with God. This class will provide attendees with practical application steps, including spiritual disciplines, evangelism training, and cultural experiences to help them learn what their role is in the Great Commission.
This class takes place at Redeemer on Mondays from 6:00 - 8:30 pm. Register by July 31st for $140 early bird pricing. College students and Redeemer members can register for $125.
Every marriage has room for growth and improvement. Re|Engage is a 14-week small group based marriage ministry. It is designed to use the word of God, testimonies of God's faithfulness, and the people of God to bring life and renewal to all marriages: from the marriage in crisis to the marriage that needs some tools and refreshment.
The Marriage Class is a four-week class for seriously dating, engaged, and newlywed couples to help them understand God's design for marriage and how to practically live that out. The class covers finances, sexuality, roles, and communication within marriage. This class will be in ES2 from 9:30 - 10:45 am for four weeks starting July 7th.

Families, Leaders, and Students come join Redeemer Students (6th-12th grade) in celebrating and preparing to start off the new school year at Redeemer! The whole family is invited as we will come together to worship, pray, eat, and kickback as we kick off the school year together!
Join the Redeemer College Ministry staff as we pray for the 2024-2025 academic school year at the heart of Texas Tech University. We want to begin the school year by praying that God would move in more ways than we could imagine. Bring your friends and family and join us for a morning of prayer walking the campus! We will meet at Memorial Circle at 9:00 am.
Join Redeemer College Ministry on October 25-27 as we head out of Lubbock to Camp OTX for a weekend of celebration, rest, and community. We hope that students that come will get connected to staff and one another, be equipped and renewed in the Word, and experience God in a new and fresh way.
If you're new to Redeemer and looking for community or taking your next step as a covenant member, then this class is for you! This class will cast vision for what Gospel Communities look like, when they meet, how to get involved in a group, and our hope of what it would look like to deepen discipleship and widen our reach in Lubbock and the world. Guest speaker Andy Kampman will break down how you can play a part in the great commission. Join us for an evening of inspiration on November 18th from 6:00 - 8:30 pm!
Join us for an evening of culinary exploration at our "Taste the Nations" event. Sample dishes from the countries where our Goers are located and learn more about their culture and pray for their specific needs. Don't miss this unforgettable experience of flavors, prayer, and fellowship from 6 - 7:30 pm on November 2nd. Tickets are $5 a person.
Our annual Govember event for ladies to come, fellowship, eat brunch, and hear from Shanee S. who has been a cross-cultural worker overseas in South Asia for over 15 years. We're excited to hear from her on the topic of Identity and Purpose as we look at a passage in 1 Peter. Come fellowship with other ladies and be encouraged on how we can know our identity in Christ and live that out purposefully. The cost is $5 and childcare is provided.

The Christmas Gift Drive is an opportunity for Redeemer to bless the families in our neighborhood and the children at Texas Girls and Boys Ranch with food items and gifts for Christmas. You can select tags from the Christmas trees set up in the lobby, purchase the items, and turn them in by December 1st.
Join us at Redeemer from 6:00 - 7:30 pm for an encouraging event where we'll share stories from the field about the incredible work God is doing among the unreached. Hear firsthand accounts from goers that are here on home assignment, followed by a Q&A session. Whether you're a sender or curious about going, come and be encouraged.
In a culture that is quick to speak, slow to listen, and prone to anxiety over political disagreements, the Bible offers a different perspective on how we ought to live and engage with the world around us. This two-week class will take place on September 22nd and 29th from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm and will explore how to navigate our current cultural moment as kingdom citizens with both compassion and conviction.
The Parents and Kids Baptism class is an opportunity to learn more about what baptism at Redeemer looks like. If you have a child who has questions about baptism, or you simply want to understand this important church ordinance with your child - then this is the class for you! Join us at 11 am in Equipping Space 2.
Join us this spring as we dig into God’s Word and go through Genesis-Esther in our first Redeemer Institute class, Old Testament Survey I, taught by Danny Kirkpatrick. This class will be held every Monday night from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. starting on January 13th and continuing through March 10th. Accredited courses are available for three credit hours each for $150 per class, and non-accredited courses will be $75 per class. This means you can receive credit at any accepting university or seminary at the accredited level or without the pressure of assignments at the non-accredited level. Childcare will be provided by request.
