University
Redeemer University Ministry (RUM) has the same vision as the church as a whole: to be a gospel-centered missional family. The only distinction is that our focus is on impacting our university campuses with the gospel of Jesus. We see the university campuses in Lubbock as some of the most needy places for the gospel and students as some of the most strategic kingdom expanding assets we have.
At RUM you will find a diverse group of college-aged students who have one thing in common: a desire to experience true biblical community and to live on misson on our college campuses and in our city. Our game plan is simple, we gather in smaller groups (called gospel communities) that aim to cultivate gospel-centered community and focus on mission. We also gather together monthly as one large group for food, worship, and teaching called First Thursday Gathering. And finally we seek to serve and care for the Texas Tech campus and other surrounding campuses by being the visible community of Jesus on campus.
The best way to get involved in what God is doing through our ministry is to get involved in one of our university gospel communities.
