Connecting, equipping and mobilizing students

Our Vision
Redeemer College Ministry seeks to connect, equip, and mobilize students to be on mission for Jesus Christ.

Our Methods
Realizing that disciple making is a commission to the Church and not solely individuals, we desire the entire church to play a role in discipleship. Sunday morning preaching, Redeemer families, gospel community coaches and individuals, gospel community leaders and college ministry staff will all work in a concerted effort to make this happen.

Our Strategies
College Gospel Communities – These are our small groups that gather weekly to learn from God’s word, learn from each other and commit to doing life together in community on mission. Find a College Gospel Community today!

2017-2018 Student Leadership Application– If you are a college student, consider applying for student leadership! Our staff team is very important to us, however, we believe that the best disciple makers for the college students of Lubbock are the believers on the campuses! College students play a tremendous role in the Kingdom of God and we want to invite students to pursue deeper discipleship. Applications are open now and interviews will begin Spring of 2018 for those aspiring to lead a College Gospel Community or participate as a member of our Student Leadership Team.  Apply here!

College Gathering – This is our monthly gathering that exists to glorify God by connecting, equipping, and mobilizing college-aged students. This is an opportunity to meet other college-age people while enjoying music, teaching, and free food. Join us the first Tuesday of every month during the Fall and Spring semesters.

Spring Break Trips – We take trips every Spring Break to big cities culturally different from Lubbock. After this exposure, our hope is that our students will have a bigger heart for cities around the world. These trips serve as an opportunity for our students to bless the city, for the city to bless them, and for them to build community with each other. Stay tuned for more information.

Summer Internships & Short-term Overseas Trips  – This program is a six-week internship to where students serve alongside our church planters and missionaries for the summer. During this time, students will focus on deepening their relationship with God. They will learn and do meaningful ministry. They will develop and live in community. Lastly, they will be better equipped for a lifetime of mission. Check back soon for more information.

Personal Work of Gospel Ministry – We want to mentor our students to bring the gospel to bear in their minor and major life events. We want to help them grow spiritually and to also teach others.
