Connect. Equip. Mobilize.

Our Vision
Redeemer College Ministry seeks to connect, equip, and mobilize students to be on mission for Jesus Christ.

Our Methods

Our college ministry aims to be gospel-centered, student-led, and staff-supported. Students lead our efforts to connect others to the Body of Christ, equip students to love God, and mobilize students to be the hands and feet of Jesus. Our entire church–from Sunday morning preaching to families at Redeemer–plays a role in discipleship.

Our Strategies
College Gospel Communities – These are our small groups that gather weekly to learn from God’s word, learn from each other and commit to doing life together in community on mission. Find a College Gospel Community today!

Student Leadership– If you are a college student, consider applying for Student Leadership! Our staff team is very important to us, however, we believe that the best disciple-makers for the college students of Lubbock are the believers on the campuses! College students play a tremendous role in the Kingdom of God and we want to invite students to pursue deeper discipleship. Applications are open now until for the 2018-2019 School Year for those aspiring to lead a College Gospel Community or participate as a member of our Student Leadership Team. Apply here!

College Gathering – This is our monthly gathering that exists to celebrate the work of God, welcome new faces into our family, and connect them to the ministry. This is an opportunity to meet other college-age people while enjoying music, and teaching. Join us the first Tuesday of every month at 7:30pm during the Fall and Spring semesters.

Late Night – Join us after College Gathering for snacks and a Late Night chat with RCM! This will be an opportunity for students to learn and ask questions about different topics. Our aim is to inform and equip those who attend and provide Biblical clarity on subjects that are sometimes tough to talk about.

Spring Break Trips – We take trips every Spring Break to cities culturally different from Lubbock. After exposure, our hope is that our students will have a bigger heart for cities around the world and consider joining a church plant in these areas after graduation. These trips serve as an opportunity for our students to bless the city, for the city to bless them, and for them to build community with each other. This year, we are going to New Orleans, Louisiana! Learn more about the trip and sign-up here!

SEND 8 Week Church Planting Practicums & Short-term Trips  – The purpose of these trips is for you to grasp the beauty of God and the greatness of his kingdom and be compelled to join where He is at work. See first hand the need for churches in different places and cultures. Figure out what your specific role is within the kingdom, whether it is domestically or overseas so that God may receive the glory! Click here for more opportunities.

Get Trained – Courses offered during the school year for those wanting to go dive deeper into Biblical subjects and learn more about what it means to be a follower of Jesus.

Personal Work of Gospel Ministry – We want to mentor our students to bring the gospel to bear in their minor and major life events. We want to help them grow spiritually and to also teach others.
